What this study is about

The Metasleep research team monitors biometric data from Huawei Watch D2 devices to evaluate treatment efficacy on blood-pressure outcomes. The collected data supports scientific analysis, research reporting, and research publication.

Participants have provided informed consent to be monitored as part of the project. This website is an information resource for participants and for application review. It does not collect participant data directly.

How data collection works

The research data flow is server-to-server after participant authorization.

  1. Watch use

The participant receives or uses a Huawei Watch D2 as instructed by the study team.

  2. Participant authorization

The participant authorizes access through Huawei OAuth / Health Service Kit where required.

  3. Server retrieval

The research server retrieves authorized health data through the REST API.

  4. Research analysis

Researchers analyze data only for the approved research purposes.
